About the Artist

Charlotte Burbery is a painting enthusiast, mum of four and grandmother of two. Based in country Victoria, Charlotte is inspired by the changing of the seasons in the beautiful landscapes that surround her home. She is especially interested in how the changing position of the sun affects the colours of plants in her garden, where she collects heritage roses and tends a veggie patch in her spare time.

In 2016, Charlotte began bringing her whimsical landscape paintings along to regional fairs and markets, where she has long been known for her award-winning fruit pies and jams. The lovely conversations and encounters sparked by displaying the paintings in her stall have revitalised her love of painting. In 2017, she was thrilled to have two of her favourite works exhibited in a group show at her local church hall.

Charlotte hopes to continue sharing the scenic beauty of the countryside through her painting, and passing her passion onto the newest members of her family – 4 year-old Harvey and baby Jeremy.
