Bath Step Solutions

There’s nothing I love more than soaking in a warm bath. It’s something I did as a child that carried through well into my elderly age. It’s a very English thing. We love our baths over in England. My love for taking long soaks definitely took hold in my young adult years. I was playing a lot of football, and a lovely salt bath was the perfect way to ease the muscles and ward off any injuries.

Nothing has changed. Even as an eighty-seven-year-old man, I am still a lover of taking a warm soak. I’ve even started looking into bath bombs! My granddaughters got me interested in those. Who knew that a grown old man would seek enjoyment out of a brightly coloured bubble bath? Despite the beautiful colours and relaxation I enjoy from bathing, things are no longer the same. It has become increasingly difficult for me to get in and out of my tub. Who would’ve thought that a once fit, bucking young lad would one day develop an enemy out of the high sides and slippery surface of a bathtub? The constant fear of slipping or falling was enough to make me hate baths altogether.

While visiting a friend recently, I noticed he had just what I needed. A bathtub cut out for elderly people. Why did I not think of this? It’s the perfect way for me to get in and out of the bath without constantly fearing that I’m going to slip and fall. I had to get the details from my friend, as this was such a great idea.

First thing I did the next morning was get a bathtub conversion quote. Sydney is an expensive place to live, so I was hoping that it wasn’t going to be too costly. I’m an old man on a pension! I don’t have that much money lying around. Luckily for me, the company my friend used was very reliable and very reasonably priced. I’m now only a few days away from having my tub cut out installed and enjoying a relaxing bath.
